Relative Haiku

Relative Haiku

Looking up, the stars.
Universal messengers.
Tell us who we are.
-Janetti Marotta

This post is part of my Haiku series. If you haven’t already, please read my “Introduction to Haiku” post.

Short practice:
When looking up at the multitude of stars in the night sky it’s not uncommon to feel small or insignificant — to question your sense of meaning. Use star gazing as an exercise to gaze within the universe of self to uncover true meaning.

“Everything is relative.”
-Janetti Marotta
