It’s important to listen to dharma talks, read Buddhist inspired books, and study the suttras, but engaging in the formal practice of meditation and the informal practice of meeting life with mindfulness or moment-to-moment non-judgmental awareness, cultivates insight which leads to wisdom. Have you ever heard the saying: “If you see the Buddha on the road kill him?” Truth can only be revealed from inside out—not from outside in.
“Truth is only uncovered from inside-out.”
