Swim downstream my tear.
In the current toward the sea.
Dissolve and emerge.

This post is part of my Haiku series. If you haven’t already, please read my “Introduction to Haiku” post.
Short practice:
When feeling disturbing emotions, rather than wishing them away or clinging tight to them, give them room to just be. Breathe space into physical places of tension or constriction. Get to know the emotion. How does the emotion does expresses itself in your body, i.e. heavy heart, racing thoughts? Say to yourself: “Here you are again anxiety I know you well.” Give emotions room to disperse, dissolve or simply be.
“Give emotions room to breathe.”
