Nonjudging

Nonjudging

  • January 13, 2014

Nonjudging means bringing an attitude of neutral observation to any encounter, without labeling things as good or bad or resisting the encounter. Nonjudging doesn’t mean eradicating judgmental thoughts. It means that if judgmental thoughts arise, you notice them without acting on them.

Wonder

No wonder I’ve had performance anxiety.
I thought I had to perform.

No wonder I’ve been lonely.
I felt I didn’t belong.

No wonder I’ve stayed doing.
I believed I wasn’t enough.

No wonder I’ve owned the story.
I couldn’t find the script.

No wonder I needed good and bad.
I had to take sides.

No wonder there was no wonder.
